2 Day Murchison Falls Mini Wildlife Safari Uganda

Murchison falls national park is largest park in Uganda.

The National Park inhabit large number of species including; hippos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, baboons, warthogs, antelopes, bird species, among others.

If you have only a few days off work, Murchison Falls National Park is where you can visit and enjoy a genuine African Safari. 2 days within the African Wilderness. Murchison Falls Park is the finest all-around wildlife National Park in the whole of “The pearl of Africa” offering you the utmost views of wildlife and picturesque wonders on a short of 2-day safari.

Day 1

From your home, accommodation or hotel in Entebbe, Kololo, Ntind, Kampala or any part of the country early morning by 6:00 am we will drive you to destination via Masindi, through Luwero. The drive takes 5 hours as you experience the beauty of Uganda’s evergreen countryside. Upon arriving at Murchison Falls Park, we shall check in to the national park authorities and then continue to cross the river Nile by ferry.

On crossing to the Paraa Part of the river you can easily see most of the wildlife within the park including some large wild buffalos, cats, crocodile, hippopotamus, among others. Check into your accommodation, you will choose between self-contained rooms having a private bath or the furnished tents elevated on concrete platform and constructed in a traditional styled design with a shared bath.

You will have lunch at beautiful luxurious Lodges as you have a fantastic view of River Nile. Experience Boat ride Safari in the Afternoon on the Nile and this is the highlight your safari around here. You will be able to See schools of hippos, large Elephant herds going to the river, buffaloes and antelopes, crocodiles, various birds on the river banks and also on land. The 3 hour boat ride takes you up to the bottom of the waterfalls and thereafter we returns.

Getting off at the bottom of the waterfalls for a guided 1-hour hike along the sides of these turbulent waterfall, this is a route with historical fact, it is the route Churchill used to carry on his journey using boat through Uganda in the direction of Egypt plus Sudan. With our guide team, we shall take you to the top of the waterfalls and you will again cross by ferry to your reserved Lodge for Dinner.

Day 2

Having had breakfast, you will be accompanied by a Ugandan Wildlife Authority Ranger who will take you to a game drive in the park, through the Savannah, near Lake Albert. You will see Lions, if lucky a leopard, several elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, numerous antelopes and a wide range of Savannah plus water birds. All game drive differs and the driver takes time driving you slowly so that you don’t miss out on anything.

Cross River Nile by the Ferry and drive back to the capital Kampala or to Entebbe. Lunch at a good Hotel. Go back to we started/home.
