5 DAYS BWINDI, LAKE BUNYONYI AND LAKE MBURO

Day 1

Kampala-Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

From Kampala after your breakfast we set you off to Bwindi Forest in the Southwestern part of Uganda. It will be a great journey with a lot of sightings such as the rolling terraced hills, together with a few stopovers at the equator to take photos and another in Mbarara to have lunch as you proceed to Bwindi. You will arrive in the evening and rest at the hotel with dinner.

 

Day 2

Mountain gorilla tracking-Bwindi

With a tour guide, in the morning we move to the park and then enter the forest for gorilla trekking. You are allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas after the  2-8 hours of trekking. Later in the evening take a walk in the Batwa community to learn about their cultural heritage and ways of life.

Day 3

Bwindi Forest-Lake Bunyonyi.

On this morning we drive to Lake Bunyonyi also termed as a great destination for birders due to the various numbers of birds that are available, its eye-striking sceneries including the islands, waters, hills, forests among others. later on, in the evening retire at the lodge and have dinner.

Day 4

Lake Bunyonyi - Lake Mburo.

Another journey to Lake Mburo national Park where by your eyes will be caught up by the large numbers of impalas, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, among others. On the way we pass by spectacular landscapes of the kigezi highlands until we arrive at the park.. Later have dinner and Overnight.

  • Day 5

Return back to Kampala. After breakfast go on a boat cruise along the lake where you will see more wildlife like hippos, Crocodiles, buffaloes, birds and you will also see other smaller lakes like Bwa and Kazuma. In the afternoon drive back to Kampala.
